We just got back from our first u/s, and we are THRILLED to announce that everything looks perfect so far. This is the best first u/s that we have ever had. The gestational sac was in the uterus, just as it should be. The CRL (crown to rump length) was 2.92, which is great. We even got a HEARTBEAT!! I am currently 5 weeks and 6 days along, so to get the heartbeat was a bonus and a very good sign. The RE is pleased with all of my numbers and with this first u/s scan. He sees no reason to be concerned, which makes me very happy. We will be back to see the RE on January 8th at 8:45am for a second u/s to make sure that the fetal growth is progressing normally. Keep all of the prayers and good vibes coming...they have definitely worked thus far!
We will add the picture of our first u/s as soon as we are able to get it scanned in...so, stay tuned!
